- Seasoned ground meat with all seasonings above, using both hands incorporate all ingredients well. I like to drizzle about 1 tsp of oil in baking pan then forming my meatloaf. Preheat oven to 350, add a baking dish with water on the bottom rack ( this helps to keep the meatloaf moist). Cover meat loaf and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. ( placing it directly above the pan with water). Remove and pour off the juice, put back in the oven uncovered while you make the gravy.
