Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ½ lbs beef short ribs
  • 1 tbsp onion powder garlic powder, garlic and herb seasoning, sat, black pepper, combination herb seasoning, beef bouillon
  • ½ tsp Debbies Caribbean soul spice optional
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cup low sodium beef broth
  • 1 ½ tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/8 cup red wine
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 8 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 ½ tbsp green seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tbsp all purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Wash meat, pat dry and seasoned with all the dry seasonings listed above including the Worcestershire sauce. Cover and marinade overnight or at least 2 hours. Heat olive oil on medium heat, brown meat about 3 minutes on each sides. Set aside and in the same pan sauté onions and garlic about 2 minutes, Add green seasoning and tomato paste stir well to combine, sauté for 1 minute, and flour and mix well to combine add wine stir well to combine, add butter and broth, stir well to combine. Placed brown meat in, cover and cook in the oven for / hours.
