“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. Colossians 3:23 (NKJV)”
What inspired you to start your entrepreneurial journey?
As my business grows, the inspiration to continue has changed a bit. Essentially, I started this journey out of need. At that point in my life, I needed to make extra money to take some of the burden off my husband. We were raising three kids, and it seemed like the bills were piling up, and my husband was home less and less. We all needed more of Dad, so I prayed about it first, and with God’s blessing, I started this business. Now, I am inspired to continue so as to leave a legacy that can be shared to encourage and grow with our future generations.
- Balancing Act:
Managing a small business while being a mom can be a challenging
balancing act. How do you prioritize your time and responsibilities to
achieve success both at home and in your business?
First and foremost, prayer. If Jesus is not at the center of what I am doing, I don’t want it! I’ve learned the hard way to fight to take control over all of the things, and no matter how much you try to balance it all yourself, you just can’t. You need the help of the one who created it all and knows exactly what you need and how you need it. So, I jump in with His plan and work it one bit at a time.
This is a little of what this looks like. Priorities: God, Husband, Family, Work, everything else.
Keeping my priorities in order helps me keep my sanity and allows me to work with excellence in all that I need to do. Some days I’ll work longer and others I mom more. (Yes, I am mom always, but I think you get the gist) But don’t you for one second think this happens with perfection. I fail many times. The difference? I dust myself off, learn that lesson in failure, take Jesus’s hand, and keep moving forward.
- Defining Wealth:
In Moms Building Wealth, we embrace the idea that wealth extends
beyond financial success. How do you personally define wealth, and what
aspects of your life contribute to your overall sense of success?
Wealth is being a part of something bigger than myself. Doing all the things for His honor and glory.
- Building a business and wealth that glorifies God and blesses our family in abundance so we can continue to bless others…in abundance.
- A marriage that exemplifies the true love and grace of Jesus so that we can counsel others on their journey.
- Never having to say no to spending quality time with my family and friends.
- Doing life with people and loving each other through the hard things.
- Watching our parents and children age and be able to be there to support them and love them through the tough times.
- Living a life that pleases God and does more than just putting money in my bank and filling my life with unnecessary things.
That’s my definition of true wealth.
- Challenges and Triumphs:
Every entrepreneurial journey comes with its set of challenges. Can you
share a significant challenge you faced as a mompreneur and how you
overcame it? What lessons did you learn in the process?
Jesus is the way, friends! I’m telling you, it was through the challenging times that I fought for control. I kicked and screamed like a two-year-old, thinking that I knew what was best. My way was better and it needed to happen now. So many times, my kids would interrupt me, my computer would stop working, or random people would be knocking on my door, keeping me from what I thought I should be doing. I would get so overwhelmed.
You know those times… You’ve got a lot of housework to do, but you’re in a zone with your business and can’t stop. Your kids are crying. The dogs are barking. You’re exhausted, but you need to finish!!
Nonsense, friend. Nonsense! It took me years to realize that those moments of interruption were God’s way of saying you did your part; now, let me do mine. Won’t God do it, though? I am amazed at how kind and loving He is, especially when we don’t listen. Lean on Him, friend, Lean on Him 💗

Support System:
Building wealth, in its various forms, often requires a strong support
system. How do you nurture and rely on your support network, both
personally and professionally, to help you succeed?
Business besties are the best! Building a business as a solopreneur can be hard and sometimes lonely. So, it is crucial to have a support system, and a community of like-minded people to do life with. People who can relate to what you have gone through or are currently going through. People who will pray for you and lead you back to what’s right so that you can keep your eyes focused on what really matters: Jesus.
-
Mindset Matters:
A positive mindset is crucial for success. How do you maintain a positive
and resilient mindset, especially during challenging times? Are there
specific habits or practices that contribute to your mental well-being?
Prayer and reading the word of God…nothing more, nothing less. Nothing keeps me more focused and helps me push through challenging times than when I pray and seek His wisdom and truth for my business.
-
Goal Setting:
Setting and achieving goals is a key aspect of building wealth. How do you
approach goal setting in your personal and business life? Can you share a
specific goal you’ve achieved and the steps you took to make it a reality?
This one here has been a bit of a challenge for me, and I need to improve on it. I love using project management tools like ClickUp or Blue to add my tasks and goals, but for the most part, they have been short-term. This year (2024), I look forward to making bigger and more long-term goals.
A tremendous short-term goal I recently achieved was establishing my affiliate marketing page with fundamental tools to save my client’s money and time trying to find the right tech. This extra income increase helps this momma be able to enjoy some more mother-son/daughter time. If you’d like to learn more about the tools I use, send me an email (hello@jacquelynloepz.com), and I’ll gladly add you to my list.
- Work-Life Integration:
Achieving success in all areas of life often involves integrating work and
personal life. How do you create harmony between your business
endeavors and family life? Are there specific strategies or rituals that help
Do you achieve this integration?
The best way to “integrate” work and life is not to integrate them at all. I do my best (action over perfection) never to mix the two. The key here is focus. So, if I’m working on something, the family knows I am out of reach until it’s done. And when I am with family or friends, I make sure to focus on them and not do anything work-related. Again, give yourself grace above all things, and give yourself permission to sometimes have to change things up a bit.

Lessons for Others:
What advice would you give to other moms who are considering starting
their own small businesses or pursuing their passion while raising a
family? Are there key lessons you wish you had known when you started?
- There is no one way of doing things. The best way will be the way that works best for YOU.
- Real imposters don’t get imposter syndrome! You’ve got this!
- Moms who don’t care about their children don’t feel bad about not caring! You can do this! (You’re doing this because you care 😉)
- Find your people! Don’t do this alone! (Message me: Let’s be friends!)
- Don’t quit! Pivot if you need to! But don’t quit!
- Pick something and stick to it!
- Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s! Keep your eyes on Jesus, and keep moving forward!
- Action OVER perfection! Start! Do! Go!
- And out of all the coaches, gurus, and courses out there that claim they can help you, nothing can help you succeed without Jesus’s wisdom to apply the knowledge you learn. Pray, pick one, and work it with excellence!
- Keep Moving Forward! YOU can do this!
Remember this! Philippians 4:13
- Looking Ahead:
As we approach the New Year, what are your goals and aspirations for
your business and personal life? How do you plan to continue building?
wealth and success in the coming year?
My goal is to continue building my family legacy business, create community, network more, travel more, and bless others in any way I can, with my Lord and Saviour at the center of it all guiding my steps.
A huge thank you to Debbie Doyle for allowing me the opportunity to share. May it be a blessing to you and others on their businesswoman journey. Let’s do this!
