Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 oz pack of sausage ( choose your preferred flavour) ( in desired sizes)
  • 1 ½ cup uncooked orzo
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ stick of butter
  • 3 cups chicken broth unsalted
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder onion powder, sazon, ground scotch bonnet pepper, smoked paprika
  • ½ cup canned roasted tomatoes
  • 1 cup mix vegetables or broccoli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil , and brown sausages about 2 minutes on each sides. Remove and set aside, in the same pan add the butter when butter melts add the onions and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes, add the can tomatoes and all the dry seasonings, stir well to combine, add the orzo and stir well to combine, and vegetable of choice add the chicken broth and stir well to combine, cover and cook .Squeeze lemon juice onto finish product
